The obvious is there’s no place like home but, we all know that are some pretty nice other places to be.

Holland, for one (the summer vacation town where parts of The Wonderful Wizard of OZ was written), is quite lovely.

Ocean City (NJ) is a family and personal favorite – would return again and again.

Ft Lauderdale in the off season (aka not spring break) is still pretty hot but appears to carry a similar intensity (just for a different age group.)

Cape Cod what a wonderful northern beach resort.

Reykjavik, that is quite special, would go again.

All of this said, five years in a row, at the end of the trip…as nice as it is – there’s no place like HOME. Happy to be here even though I am happy when I get to travel.
