The thing with being a dad is that you’re never done.

No matter what age you are.

No matter what age your kids are…

No matter how many times you have to hold on for just one more second.

No matter how many bike rides you later were able to take…

No matter how many cars, houses, or things you’ve fixed.

No matter how many things you had to fix again…

No matter how many hugs you have shared.

No matter how many kisses you’ve shared..

No matter how much you have done.

No matter what you still have to do…

If we are indeed lucky in life, we are never done living it, having still more life to live. Happy Father’s Day – just one more (and then another) is always the best gift we can give and receive…or would be.
