When you’re wrong, the right thing to say is – of course – my apologies.
That is one option…there are many others which mean the same thing.
- I’m sorry.
- My bad.
- Oops.
- I’m so sorry.
- Did I say that? Oh, yes, I did. I didn’t mean it that way…(really.)
- How can I make it right?
Instantly offering a refund isn’t always going to solve the issue…for everyone or for every problem.
More importantly, is that last apology. Don’t just end the issue with “my apologies” unless you can figure out what made them get upset and how to help make it better.
