Depending on how you handle your schedule, planning, booked appointments, staff, promotions and much more… Mondays can be great!
I definitely recommend planning ahead. Mondays can be tough. The weekend was busy but at the same time nothing gets “done” and then it is all left to the first day of the “work” week to be accomplished.
Schedule your promotions to work to your advantage. If you are slow on Monday, open the door to the option to attract customers. Restaurants do this all the time. Special menu items, children eat free, school and charity organization FUNdraisers are all great options for Monday (and Tuesday, too.) Spend the morning getting ready, promote it in advance and capture a great sales day to start the week.
For me, I just had to say that this was probably one of the most productive Mondays in a while. I planned what I had to do, I wasn’t interrupted by too many distractions (nor allowed myself to digress from the plan) and voila! Done!
What a great Monday!
