In sales you are not really happy with a maybe, but no is okay.
“Maybe” strings you along, hoping for a yes.
Countless calls.
Even more emails.
Lots of texts even.
Waiting.
Hoping.
Yes…maybe but no. That’s my final answer. Next option please. (And then, a sigh of relief perhaps. At least that is an answer. Maybe is definitely not an answer.)
