I think that the preference, or the best course of action is to loosely prepare…

You know what you:

• think and believe,
• could say,
• want to say,
• would make,
• will do (maybe, if things happen the way you think they will),
• would write if you did it now,
• want to have happen in the future.

Loosely prepare, run through it in your mind. Make a plan, but, remain flexible and open to new ideas, chance and circumstances as they happen. Snow, no snow. Speeches (or presentations) that change based on audience reaction and feedback. Traffic or none. Life in general is fluid and the unexpected can happen at a moments notice. We can be open minded and carefree, but only if we prep a little…just in case. I mean, we don’t want to be unprepared in the right moment, now do we?
