We can always be better when we listen and learn vs

• talking too much
• pontificating
• expounding on the same idea, over and over again
• spouting stats
• reliving the glory days of high school or college

When it comes to our kids, we can learn a lot from them. Plus, we ask them to listen and learn, but do we hear and follow our own advice? If not, we should. One mouth, two ears…meaning, of course, that we should listen at least twice as much.
