Doesn’t it go this way…especially on a holiday – just when you sit down:

The timer goes off

Dinner is ready

You realize your water glass is empty

The phone rings

You remember you left something in the other room

The dog needs to go out

Someone comes to the front door

Okay, admittedly that last one hasn’t happened in a while, and we don’t even have a dog, but that happened a few times this weekend.

Take a breath…it’s okay.

Now, really it is true that just when you sit down you realize how nice it is to have everyone “home” for the holidays.
