In just a few more days – okay, maybe it is closer to an entire week – but, soon it will officially be spring.

The birds are already singing, the people are already walking outside, the kids are asking about ice cream and water ice.

(Yes, the local Rita’s had a small line this evening, although half of the people had on parkas.)

I know that every winter we wait and wait…but, this year although not overall as cold as others, ended on a more bitter note. I think we are all ready to say goodbye to that.

In just a few more days we will see the sun shining later, brighter, longer and making the flowers bloom. Spring is full of optimism and this one can’t come soon enough.
