Things that are intermittent but persistent…

Either good –

• You can count by on them
• They are predictable
• They are not always there, but will be again soon

Or bad –

• You are often surprised (then not surprised by them)
• They are annoying
• There is no real easy way to stop them from happening

Either way you look at it, intermittent but persistent definitely garners an opinion from the observer.
