Things do that… they run hot then cold.

People do it too. For then, it might not, however be on purpose. Just a matter of timing, attention and what the heck is going on.

The equipment, hopefully that can be fine-tuned, repaired or replaced if needed.

People on the other hand who run hot then cold may just be in need of a conversation. It might not solve the issue, but at least then you will know why.
