Beyond first impressions, you have to get past the start of certain things to even be interested. A story online, a new Netflix series, a book someone tells you you have to read (think school, work or maybe chosen for book club) or a new sport.

Just get past the start and before you know it, you will be hooked. You can’t stop and won’t put it down. Tell everyone about it, but warn them…they have to give it a chance. Guide a little bit further – how much time, how many episodes or pages might it take? Then, you can all talk about it together and share your first, second and last impressions.
