Delivering as promised is the ultimate in customer service. Regardless of how much the customer has paid, $1 to $120 for rush services or thousands for closing on a business – when you deliver on time it is perfection.
Strive to bring what you promised. If you can’t do that, then be upfront and honest – as quickly as you can with the client or customer. It is always better to communicate what is happening than to let the deadline come and go, knowing you can’t meet the original plan.
But, still… when you pay a rush fee and you get the package early – huge success!
