Seems like there is a reason. Maybe not though. If you think about it, there are two options: accidentally or on purpose. 

They are not the same. 
One or the other.

Sure you can pretend whatever way they interpret it was the reason, but there isn't any need. You - as the designer - had to make a decision. It doesn't have to be right or wrong. It just is. 

The tower we visited today was built in memory of historical significance. Yet, until we were right upon it, the structure was completely hidden from view. 

Yes, we should remember. But, how can we if no one even knows it is there?

Happy to support it...those local sites - whether here or there - in some other town. A place that is home to many, just not us. As we travel our way around the world they are there so we can stop, pause and admire in wonder. 

Even if the design - hidden or visible - was done accidentally or on purpose it is still worth seeing. Glad to have been there. Wish we had visited sooner. Maybe, just maybe, we will go back again and learn just a little bit more.
