The captions, images and color scheme are part of what draws us in - the facts are what keep us coming back for more. Charts and graphs are often a necessary part of the picture. If they're able to tell the story AND entertain us at the same time, we will read more, learn more and understand more. 

Yes, yes, yes, of course, the hook in the click bait is what will get us. Then, you need to show you have the ability to make it interesting. If not, we will abandon the path and never give you what you really want from us. More time. More eyeballs. More attention...and maybe a share, or two.
