There are the things you must do, and there are the things you want to do. Then, there are the things you decide to do on impulse that are entirely different than planned.

• Surprise someone.
• Spur of the moment.
• Simply not ordinary.
• Seeking a small treat.

You know there are some holidays that happen on the very same day each year. This is kind of nice since you can prepare well in advance, even if the weather is unpredictable – snowy and still quite cold. Valentine’s Day is designed to make it feel warmer, welcome and full of heart.

So, yes, that last one, was totally not on impulse, but planned out ahead of time. Just maybe not executed until today. Hopefully however, still on time, and maybe even early.
