Delayed On Purpose

If you are delayed on purpose, will you be thankful, or upset?

Perhaps, the answer is better answered after the circumstances are known.

Among the many reasons, may be one of these…

To wait for your child or parent, and bring everyone together.

To skip traffic, that would have made the trip longer, and more uncomfortable.

To be able to avoid a complication that you don’t know about (and may never know, either.)

To build on the anticipation and make a grand entrance, filled with oohs and aaahs.

We were (I think) delayed on purpose so we could watch the entire game and not lose connection, just at the crucial moment. (Although, for those of you who did watch this year’s game, I am not sure there ever was an important, stressful minute – at least for the Eagles.) It was nice to be able to see it through until the end and glad for the birds, they worked hard for this win. It was worth the wait.
