While you can go back, it will probably be different. Nothing ever stays the same and your perspective, your memory, your ability to recall the facts may be skewed to what you want to remember.

That concert you went to and the performance was amazing.

That dinner you enjoyed and the owner was more than hospitable.

That park you took your kids to when they were just able to enjoy the space.

That country you visited when you were younger and you always said you would visit again.

That boat ride you took to the middle of nowhere, but the sunset…oh, the sunset.

That college – you know, the one where you spend years of your life – yep, that one – it’s not even close to being the same.

Sure you can go back but you are different so, even if nothing else has changed…life has taken you so many other places – with so many more memories – you just have to enjoy it where (and when) you are today.
