When a no becomes a yes there is probably a good reason (or more) for the change of thought.

It is not to be flighty or second guessing the situation.

It is not that you were being rude; in fact, just the opposite.

It is not because of being overwhelmed by guilt.

It is not that they didn’t want to…perhaps they just found a way to make it happen.

Let’s just say it is fortuitous when a no becomes a yes and the plan changes, for the better. Enjoy it. Say thank you, and keep going. If you were asked again, you might have a different opinion, but then again, so might they.
