For the last few (several) years, at the end of and beginning of each year, there are calls to action from local companies. It is their quest to earn your vote for the best in their industry, category and type of business.
Vote online, vote often and help them win.
Customers and clients earn nothing from this, except helping a business they like, appreciate and want to see continue to thrive. That’s all it is. It won’t drive prices down, it probably won’t make customer service better, it might even make it harder to get a table on a busy night, or the lesson/appointment/session time you want.
Yet, we do it because we want to cast our choice, share our opinions and vote for the best. In some way, making us feel better in our own choice – acknowledgement that we are not the only ones and it isn’t the world best kept secret.
