It’s funny, when you see the vision of the future from the past.

Flying cars, skateboards that hover, and food made “on demand”.

Fashion that doesn’t quite fit and slang that sounds even older than the time of the movie’s production.

They don’t quite get it right – especially when the year 20XX comes and goes – without the slightest bit of truth.

For the most part this is how it goes.

Sometimes though, there are these tiny moments of creativity. Music that sounds like “today”. Dialogue that reminds you of a conversation you had just the other day.

Parts of reality that combine cliches with a truth that you can’t tell anymore.

Was it just a vision of the future or a dream of what might have come, but did not. Yet.
