Hey, there is that sound again. It is reminiscent of something and triggering my brain to think “what was that?” Maybe…

• A song you have heard before.
• A lawn mower, chain saw, leaf blower or other outdoor gas powered equipment.
• The voice of a friend, family member or colleague.
• Air brakes on a truck down the road.
• The hard drive moving (old school), ice maker turning, or the oven re-lighting and heating up again.
• Squeaking, scratching, clawing of a mouse, cat, fox, dove, owl, hawk or other wild animal.
• A commuter or freight train rumble.
• That package being delivered, splat/thump and the delivery truck door slider closing before the truck is driven away.
• Running water and the hum of a motor.

What is that sound and, maybe more important, should I go investigate further? (If you are asking that question, the answer is probably yes.)
