We have been experiencing a seasonal anomaly in terms of the weather…but nothing can compare to being at the beach off season. It was a holiday, but relatively light in terms of traffic and crowds. Still fun and lots of options available for dining out, entertainment and even branded sweatshirts. 

Meanwhile…

• Streets are closed and bring repaired.
• Boards are missing from the boardwalk.
• Piles of sand are waiting to become dunes.
• Restaurant owners have gone away.
• Shops are boarded up.

Some of these are not just a seasonal anomaly – there are several restaurants and shops that are indeed not just closed for the winter – but until someone new will take a chance next at their dream. These spots are just waiting for spring to show their talents in terms of coffee, ice cream, souvenirs, clothing or home accessories. Just wait. Great things are coming to a beach town near you.
