Not Your Fault

I know it’s not your fault, but you are our only hope.

Since we have no other recourse but to call you – or your department, supervisor, manager or owner – it is you that has to help.

Just because there are layers and layers of responsibility in an organization does not mean that there is an absolution of the need to help customers.

Payment for service requires, at the most basic terms, service.

So. I know that you, my dear person on the phone, that it is not your fault. I also know that I should not get frustrated with you – but there are no other options when I have already spoken to three other groups who have sent me – ultimately – to you. As, if, in their mind they thought that you had some magical powers or, perhaps were a force to be reckoned with these days.
