Monday Margherita….mmmmm pizza.

When the kids get to pick what they want for dinner, personal, home made pizza often takes the vote.

Of course, they have to make it.

Which is fine by me.

Especially, when they realize that we have fresh mozzarella, basil and homemade (leftover) gravy to use as their base.

Or, and not pictured, cheddar, bacon and chipotle, southwest sauce – hey, if they are making it, I won’t complain.

A Monday Margherita may not have made you think of pizza if I had said it out loud, but it would still be what you would want to eat if someone offered to make you one today.
