Just Right

The elusive goal of “just right” is literally a problem for anyone (not just Goldilocks).

Sometimes, we don’t have it the way we want it because we care about others and their feelings. However, when feelings are not a part of the equation – can you actually “have your porridge and a comfortable chair” at the same time?

Perhaps.

  • When asked, you should tell people what it is that you want.
  • When available, you should buy the food you like.
  • When it is an option, you should take the appointment that fits into your schedule.
  • When it works, go for it.

Do not just try to make it work – it never does and someone will have lost – it may be you.

  • Too long, too short.
  • Too early, too late.
  • Too much pressure, not enough.
  • Too cheap, too expensive.

If you can figure out the way to make it just right, then you definitely have won and no one has to be put out, go hungry or even sit on the floor. In fact, everyone may win, because often people think they know what others want, but they are really just guessing. They would be even happier to know what it is that would be perfect.
