Just because someone says “I am not sure“, does not mean:

• they want ideas
• they need you to explain it to them
• they would like you to debate it
• they don’t actually know what they want to do

They probably have their own ideas. They know what they’re doing. They don’t want to discuss it.

And

They know exactly what they would like to do but even as they say out loud, “I am not sure“, in their head they really are sure. They just don’t want to admit it – out loud – to themselves, or to the others around them.
