So, apparently, we are getting ready and there are four astronauts who will soon be going past the moon. Not to it, past it (and back again.) They could leave as early as February 8th.

Say what?

When did this all happen? Where is the PR, the announcements and the hoopla?

After 54 years of pretty much “staying in orbit” around the Earth, we are heading out there again. You would have thought – I would have thought – that it would have been a much bigger deal.

Even though there is a big game on TV that very same day, you would think that this would get at least a mention on the news, social media and in the press.

Going past the moon – it is indeed one more small step – we should be paying attention. One of these journeys will help people as they make plans towards Mars.
