If someone looks uncomfortable, because of what you are doing…don’t ask them: “does this bother you?”

That is not going to endear you to them.

It will also not make them more comfortable.

Or, forgiving.

You are just pretty much rubbing it in.

When someone is judgmental, there is no question whether or not it is a problem.

There is no need to ask “does this bother you?”, the answer is yes. It does and you should stop or they will never forgive you. They may never come back either. You work at a coffee shop, there are many good ones and yours may not be on the list to return.
