I hope that you had the day off for adventuring…it used to be a holiday everywhere, now, not so much.

• Maybe you had the opportunity to go take a bike ride or hike with your kids on their day off from school.
• Perhaps you went shopping to take advantage of Columbus Day Sales that retailers promoted last week, it was worth a look.
• Did you leave the computer behind, ignore e-mail and text messages?
• Or, just slept in, not setting the alarm, letting your internal clock tell you it was time to get up and have a cup of coffee, finally.

It is that time of the fall season when there are few holidays to enjoy. Sometimes you don’t have an official day off for adventuring – like the banks and government offices did today. But, still, you make the day wonderful, taking advantage of others being out. Hope it was an easy, enjoyable, relaxing Monday…before you know it, the weekend will be here and we can all have a day.
