Just one more week until Memorial Day, I know you are counting down the days and soon it will be the hours.

We are happy to be home this year for our annual borough parade. It is local, small and fun.  Last year, the first year (I think) in 19 years that we missed it – but for good reason – we were flying off to Ireland for a grand adventure across a few countries and one continent.

Of course, I am counting down the months (hopefully less than more) until we take our next adventure off to Europe; continuing to spread our wings, learn about foreign cultures, languages, history and food – of course some wine, too. Nothing planned but in my mind, we are headed there soon. Once you have the idea – all it takes is a little bit of determination to get there.
