When you can’t go out and about, doing your normal celebrations…cakes are essential.

Thankful that the bakeries near us are open, operating and creating masterpieces for us to enjoy.

Also, thankful that we have room in the fridge for leftovers.

Being able to have AND enjoy cakes are essential components of quarantine times…especially when we have been at it for more than two month’s time. (I stopped counting, but by my “bad math” calculations, it is 10 weeks in just 2 more sunrises – that is 70 days, about 54 more than initially predicted.) I say we should all get to enjoy cake. This is just beyond what should be acceptable or tolerable.
