Antique or Old

How do you want to pitch it…as being antique or old?

Both can be true but one of them sort of sounds better. Similar to the option of being vintage or old. Vintage just sounds better. Cooler. More hip.

And there are many comparisons that would be preferable to be one over the other.

  • Inexperienced or young.
  • Sleepy or exhausted.
  • Hungry or starving.
  • Tipsy or drunk.
  • Cranky or angry.

Reality tells us that they are (for the most part) the same thing, but we may prefer one over the other. If you are driving an antique or old car, one of them is definitely more valuable than the other (and it only takes 25 years to be “classic”.) Funny how the cars from the late 90s shouldn’t yet be antique, but they are certainly quite old.
