It seemed like a fair price…then we found out that it was a bundle deal.
Even better!
This doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, they saddle you with a bunch of products or services that you don’t need or want. You feel like you have no option.
In fact, one time – this was memorable – it was less expensive to sign up for more services than just one. In that case, we definitely didn’t want what they were offering, but why pay $20 or $30 more for less?
No waste there, though.
This wasn’t a product that would leave us with something to just throw away at the end of each month…like when they continued to deliver the paper to us. I am convinced it was so that they could count us in the subscriber list for advertisers. At least it seemed like we were reading. We had no choice but to pick up the paper off the front lawn, edge of the curb or in the hedges – even soaked on a rainy day, or look like we were not home for days and days at a time.
Anyway…this bundle deal tonight was in fact, like the one we agreed to years ago, a good bargain
