We have to do the important stuff first, then…the rest can or will follow.

It doesn’t always happen this way. Sometimes the littlest things cry out the loudest and get the attention that they don’t truly deserve. This is why you have to turn off (or ignore) the distractions.

• Stay focused.
• Stay on task.
• Stay vigilant.

Take the breaks you need to take and keep your eye on the prize. Your goals were set for a reason, but new goals may evolve and move to the top of the heap – unknown, but still quite urgent.

If lists work for you, then make one and put the important stuff first. When new things become evident, move them to the top…Sideline those other things to page 2 or 3 where you will find them eventually.
