I know. I know the weather has been bad, but – oh no you won’t put me on a connecting flight…

• that leaves EARLIER than I already booked way earlier than dawn (and than Dawn likes to wake up).
• on a morning that has been forecasted to be single digits.
• moving us to the back of the plane.
• charging us upgrade fees, too.

All of this is adding insult to injury as the old saying goes.

I understand a lot of things and I don’t usually get up in arms (fight me) about things. But, this was NOT acceptable.

I saw the change flight texts and immediately was like oh no you won’t do that to me or my colleagues. We will leave later, on a direct flight, with decent seats (*even if they are not as ideal as the other ones were), and we will just get there a little bit later than planned.

PS Hang in there everyone. This is only the beginning of winter. We still have 7 weeks to go and we have at least one more snow event coming our way. (Yes, yes we do.)
