Think about all of those things that you have long forgotten how to do.
One day, you might need to use them again. Don’t worry, you may be able to recover the memories. Muscle memory is a real thing. Both from actions of making things, or doing something and the mental process of the thought behind taking action.
Make it a habit of recovering those skills that are worth hanging onto.
But, you have to want to remember. (Will you though?)
It may depend. How long forgotten and what was the trigger that makes you want to figure it all out again. There are so many things that we used to know. It will be important to focus on the ones that will matter most now.
