Little Bothersome Things

Sometimes, those little bothersome things just get on your nerves. They can’t be ignored, but you don’t have time to deal with them, properly that is, so you just handle them. Day by day, each time they happen. Until, the moment comes and you just have to say: Stop. No more. This has got to be resolved.

Itchy tags on the shirt you have on below a few layers.

Smudged eyeglasses since you grabbed them the wrong way but keep looking around the edges.

A cobweb in the corner; which begs the question – how is it that we never see the spider creating it?

Promotional e-mails that come in nearly every day for that one item you bought for a random gift that someone specifically requested.

Those scratchy sweaters…the ones you only pull out on the coldest of winter days and on your mind because of that; in summer they wouldn’t even be a thought.

The wrapping paper still sitting out from the holiday gatherings – the last one was over a week ago but it is still there, out of sight for the most part except when you come into that room from another direction.

These (and other) little bothersome things never take that long to address and resolve, but they create added stress. Don’t let them take up your energy any longer. You know you can’t ignore them – so go and fix them as soon as you have the chance.
