I mean, that would be the honorable thing to do. If you are aware of something you should say something.

Isn’t that the statement: See something, say something (then, do something) right?

It could be a bug, design flaw, or a defect. It might be a little problem, or a big one, but with a solution.

This is why, the known problem is the easiest thing to handle – but, if they don’t say anything about it, we are left to figure it out on our own.
