It occurs to me that there is a real sense of irony around the term dry town.

At least right now when I am thinking of Las Vegas…

I mean, technically in at least one aspect “Sin City” is actually a dry town. Of course, that is only in the sense that it is a desert – you come out of it more dehydrated than you could ever think possible.
