When my husband and I were franchise owners, we had a fun retail game we used to play at our store - with our General Manager - and nephew. Some little silly thing today reminded me of this entertainment...a way to whilst away the afternoon. 

Beer store, pizza or us?

We were predominantly e-commerce, with delivery fulfillment. So, not a lot of people other than employees, the daily visits from our suppliers and USPS or UPS delivery teams would stop in.

As people that we didn't recognize walked toward our store, we would "bet" and guess...were they coming to us, avoiding the traffic in the parking lot or going to one of the locations on either side of us? 

• To our (stage) right - Beer Store. 
• To our (stage, you get the idea) left - pizza shop.

There were many other friendly owners in the center and while we held our own, we were not the every day destination stop unless it was a holiday of some sort. We did not begrudge them their pedestrian foot traffic. 

I assure you, it was not that complicated to play, and we enjoyed it. Just a fun retail game that you can play now, too. Pass it on.
