The role of the manager is to make sure none of this happens. Keep it moving along, on schedule and just ahead of the edge of being mind-numbingly monotonous.
Keep it fun and fresh.
Make it interesting every single day.
Take progress notes and interim payments.
When the crew gives up, the client needs some recourse. That is where the 10% holdback comes in. It’s very, very real and everyone, even the foreman knows where the fine line is.
