In life, you should always have a back up plan.

A second alarm.

An alternative way to get there.

A different place to buy the things you need.

An option you would accept if the first one is booked.

A second option for dinner when the reservation didn’t go through and there is an hour wait.

An either or…

A secret e-mail where they can reach you if needed.

And… among all of those other things, have a back up plan that includes someone who has your best interests in mind. Someone who will be there when (or if) you need support, reassurance and guidance…Or, even just a ride to the airport.
