Work in Space

It can be gleaned, at least from today’s commentary by NASA and the astronauts, that work in space is pretty hard. Though, not impossible.

  • It does take attention to detail.
  • It takes hard work.
  • It seems (as you would expect) that you have to do anything and everything needed.
  • No matter what.

Just like (maybe…go with this theory for me) a business owner who needs to know every detail of every aspect of the business and be willing to do what it takes to make it a success.

  • Wash the dishes.
  • Clean the bathrooms.
  • Fix the problems.
  • Anything to make it work.

I know that owning a business and putting a human on a rocket, sending them into space and bringing them back, is vastly different.

BUT.

The issues are nonetheless similar.

You have to think of the work you do as if it is worth doing.

And NASA, Elon Musk, SpaceX – all of the astronauts – and the engineers are doing work worth doing. They are doing everything it takes for humans to work in space. Someday, it won’t just be work. It will be all of the accomplishments that a dreamer once thought could happen if only they tried to do the right thing.
