Today, with telework you have to be the one to decide how much is too much or you can get caught in the endless work day.

Aspiring promotees used to come in early and stay late in order to impress the boss or owner, but there was an actual office closing time and you had to leave.

Or, maybe it was for altruistic reasons and a promotion might not have been the reason.

There is always more work to do.

Another e-mail, another client request, another chance to communicate more clearly…another way to help others.

• Stay healthy.
• Stay informed.
• Stay aware.
• Stay ahead of the next wave.
• Stay in business.
• Stay relevant.

Maybe, it’s just temporary, whether due to unforeseen circumstances, or coincidence that the spring days become summer and each day continue to get brighter and stay lighter each day…that is, until yesterday.

Maybe now there will be a break.

Or, has the endless work day just become the norm? The real question then must be, how much longer can this last…?
