The beep, beep, beep of the text message can be a good little tune, or…not.

Sometimes, the incessant beeping of your phone can drive you crazy, or worry you…especially when you look down and you have 21 unread messages in the last 4 minutes.

You are either having a good day, or a bad day and very little can happen in between.

Plus, on my haptic enabled watch, it isn’t even a song, just a light buzz each time someone thought to chime in with their 2 cents, or their “wow!” or ❤️ or 👍 or (insert other emoji here ___.)

Today, since I am over the age of 25, a series of group chats and one regular old text, had my phone flipping out. I was – indeed – worried for a minute that there was a client crisis the day before the holiday. Not a good sign, sound or feel.

So, instead, I was hoping that it was good news. After all, I rarely deal with crisis. It had to be good news.

Indeed, the beep, beep, beep messages that all came in within a matter of minutes had me quietly and secretly anticipating notes of Thanksgiving, love, friendship and more…but, finding out that we have a new baby in the family, well, that was more than I could have hoped to see!! ❤️❤️ and 😘 and👶and WOW! Congratulations mom and dad – we can’t wait to meet your new Little Prince. Our hearts are full of love and thanks for his arrival in our world.
