When you wait in the wings, it is helpful if you are patient, accommodating and happy to be a part of the bigger whole.

Some might be unsatisfied if they are not the lead, the star of the show, the leader, the one who is in the spot light.

Others are completely happy to be in the show, and have even the smallest part. No lines. No solos. No crazy costume changes.

Your career may not take you in the direction of CEO or president. It is good to be able to be part of the whole and make a difference for what you do.

Those are the ones who stand in the wings, and sing along, supporting the overall performance. They come out smiling and you still give them flowers, a big hug and they are so happy that you were able to see them in the show.
