What you do in house can be controlled…what you do out of house…should also be completely within your realm of understanding. 

If not, you have some serious risk.

Communication matters…you must tell them what you want. Clear. Explicit. Expectations. 

You need to do what you can in house, but hire expertise when you don’t have the time or the experience at your disposal. Then, you can grow…and make the hires you want to make.
