You know, even as an adult it is hard to wait for the gifts.

It is slightly different, but not really.

As you age, you mostly can’t wait to give the gifts. To see their surprise, joy and happiest of smiles as they open the item you have chosen right for them.

Although, as I think back… just recently…my husband bought my gift and gave it to me 2 weekends ago.

In his defense (and to prove that he does in fact have the ability to exhibit self control) it was a concert and it was only in town that weekend, but it proves that even as an adult; we just. Cannot. Wait. Not even for just 5 more days.
