You can’t blame delayed holiday mail on the carrier, if:

• you failed to check your mail box
• you didn’t send the cards on time
• you forgot that yesterday was Thursday and not Monday
• you mailed the bill payments late

You also can’t blame delayed holiday mail on the weather…unless they change their policy and now that is allowable. They used to have a motto, but I guess that isn’t true anymore – at least if the roads are closed due to sleet, ice and snow.
